Constance Erdek, 91, of Edison passed away on March 3, 2023, at Roosevelt Care, Edison. Connie was a graduate of Perth Amboy High School Class of 1949, and a resident of Edison for 65 years. She was Library Assistant for Clara Barton Library for 30 years and a communicant of St. John Paul II Parish of St. Stephen's Church, Perth Amboy. Connie was an active member of the Clara Barton Democratic Club and the Edison Democratic Club. She was a volunteer at JFK Medical Center, an avid knitter, enjoyed reading and was a big sports fan, often watching various sports on TV.

Connie was predeceased by her husband, William "Bill" Erdek in 2020 and her brothers, Arthur and Henry Jakubczak.

She was a wonderful and much beloved mother and grandmother and is survived by her son, William S. Erdek, her daughter Jill Merker and her husband Donald and two grandchildren, Brittney and Donald.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, from 3 PM to 7 PM at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, at 9:15 AM from Flynn and Son Funeral Home, Fords, followed by a 10 AM funeral Mass at St. Stephen's Church. Interment will be in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Keasbey.
