Conrad Diener, 100, of Monroe Township, passed peacefully on January 7, 2019

Born in Brooklyn, NY and formerly Edison and Manalapan, he had resided in Monroe for the last 7 years.

He was a veteran of WWII serving in the US Army.

Conrad was a retired administrator for over 25 years with the Middlesex County Board of Social Services, in New Brunswick.

He was a member of the Jewish War Veterans of Monroe and was the former treasurer of the Monroe Village Residents' Association.

He was pre-deceased by his beloved wife Frances (Parnes) Diener, who died in 2008 and his siblings; Irving Diener and Shirley Stock.

Conrad leaves behind his two beloved sons, Edward L Diener of Duluth, Ga and Michael B. Diener and his wife Lisa Bennett, of Highland Park, his two grandchildren; Miles Diener-Bennett and his wife Tiffany Greenberg and Jesse Diener–Bennett and his wife Anne Dearth.

Funeral services will take place on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at noon at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 424 East Ave Perth Amboy NJ 08861

Interment will follow in Beth Israel Memorial Park Cemetery, Woodbridge.

Shiva will be observed at the home of Michael Diener in Highland Park on Thursday and Friday evening.
