Clementine E. Mieszkalski, 91, of Perth Amboy, entered into eternal rest March 4, 2011 at the JFK Medical Center in Edison.

Clementine was born in Perth Amboy and was a life-long resident there. She was a nurse at Perth Amboy Hospital for 15 years before retiring and then owned the Handi Deli in Perth Amboy for 10 years. Clementine was also a life-long member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Perth Amboy.

She was predeceased by her husband, Stanley, in 1965 and sisters Anna Kellas and Emma Lutz. She is survived by her son Benjamin S. and his wife Judith of Monroe; grandchildren: Dr. Glenn Mieszkalski and his wife Linda of Lancaster, PA, Kim Casey and her husband Patrick of Middletown, and Kelly Mieszkalski of Durham, NC; great-grandchildren: Lauren, Matthew, and Jack; and niece, Laverne Thomas of Burbank,CA.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 7, at 10:30 at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Ave., Perth Amboy, followed by an 11 am service at the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church. Interment will be in Clover Leaf Memorial Park. Visitation is on Sunday, March 6, from 2:00-6:00 pm.
