Claudiu I. Corban, 84, of Middletown, passed away at Sunrise Senior Living on October 21, 2015. He was born in Cotu Vames, Romania. on February 21, 1931. He was the Chief Mechanical Engineer for Gibbs and Hill Engineering in NYC for 27 years. Claudiu enjoyed skiing and traveling.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Selisett Corban, of Middletown; a son, Lawrence Corban, of NYC and a sister, Dorina Constantinecu, of Romania.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30pm Monday, October 26, 2015 at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Ave., Perth Amboy, followed by a 2pm Service of Divine Liturgy at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, Perth Amboy. Interment will follow in Fair View Cemetery in Middletown. Visitation will be Sunday from 4-8 pm at the funeral home.
