Claudia Susan McMenamin, 72, died comfortably at her home on Friday, March 18, 2022.

Born on April 13, 1949 in Philadelphia, PA, she grew up in Cape May, NJ.  She was a 1967 graduate of Wildwood Catholic High School where she had earned every possible academic award that was available at that time. Claudia then went on to Douglass College where she received her BA in 1971.  Thereafter, she worked for AT&T for a short time before becoming a Probation Officer for Middlesex County. She retired from the Probation Office in 2005.

Claudia's passions included cats, and she was an avid reader consuming thousands of books.  She enjoyed cruising, collecting art, and watching a good "who dunnit" TV series.  She will always be remembered for her endless knowledge, wit, respect, and love for all.

Claudia is preceded in death by her parents, and by her two long-time companions Raymond Kearney and Monroe Kokin.  She is survived by her two closest friends Mark Zollner and Pamela Jones Bassel; and by her companion Monroe's daughters and grandchildren.

Friends may call on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ from 11:00am until 1:00pm. Entombment will follow at 1:30pm in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, US Route 1 North at Woodbridge Center Drive., Woodbridge, NJ.
