Clare Burns, 90, of Perth Amboy, passed away at home on March 17, 2014. She was born in Fords, on April 8, 1923, and was a lifelong resident of Perth Amboy. Clare was a homemaker. She graduated from St. Mary's High school in 1941. She was a member of the St. Mary's Alter Rosary.

Her husband John V. Burns predeceased her in 2013.

She is survived by seven children, Clare Burns-Klein of Perth Amboy; Anthony Burns of Woodbridge; Mary Senior and her husband

Kenneth of Bound Brook; Barbara Burns and her husband Gary Christopher of West Hollywood. CA; Coleman Burns of Palm Coast, FL; Joseph Burns of Perth Amboy; John Burns of Easton, PA; six grandchildren, Mia; David; Erin; Kelley; Shannon; Brendan; five great-grandchildren and a sister, Lucille Vildelko of Youngstown, OH.

A Funeral Liturgy will be offered at 10:30 AM, Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Our Lady of Peace Church in Fords. Interment will follow in St. Gertrude's Cemetery in Colonia. Arrangements have been entrusted to Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23, Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863.
