Obituary of Clara Slicner


Clara Slicner, 94, of Cranbury, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2022 at the Roosevelt Care Center in Edison. Mrs. Slicner was born in South Amboy to the late Stanley and Pearl Archacki and had lived all of her life in Fords. She was homemaker. She was a member of Our Lady of Peace RC Church, Fords,

Clare was predeceased by her husband Leon in 2012, a son Lee in 2000, a sister Theresa Ciszewski in 2005. She is survived by her two sons, Ronald Slicner and his wife Elaine of Cranbury, and Gerald Slicner and his wife Arlene of Princeton, four grandchildren, Pamela. Jessica, Richard and Michael and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday 10:00 am at the Mitruska Funeral Home, Inc., 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Followed by a 10:30 am mass in the Our Lady of Peace Church, Fords. Interment will follow in the St. Stephen's Cemetery in Keasbey. Visitation hours will be held Sunday from 2 - 5 pm.
