Clara H. Woznica Powojski 94, of Fords entered into eternal rest, Tuesday July 23, 2013 at Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center in Edison. She was born in South Amboy and resided in Fords for the past 60 years.

Clara worked at Chas. Komar Co. in South Amboy for approx. 50 years.

She was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace R C Church in Fords, and a former member of Fords and Keasbey Senior Citizens.

Clara was predeceased by her husband Joseph A. Powojski in 1974 and her grandson Michael Poll III in 1994. She is survived by her daughters Dorothy Poll and her husband Michael of Sayreville, and Janice M. Stopen of Fords, three grandchildren Christine, JoAnn, and Robert, nine great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren her sister Anna Bartlinski and sister-in-law Ann Woznica, both of Sayreville.

Funeral services will be held on Friday July 26, 2013 at 10:30 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Avenue, Fords followed by an 11 am funeral liturgy at Our Lady of Peace R C Church. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Sayreville. Visitation will be 9:30 to 10:30 Friday morning.
