Obituary of Clara Arias


Clara Arias, 87, of Perth Amboy, passed away Friday, January 20, 2017 at her home. Mrs. Arias was born in Avenel to the late Andrew and the Anna Ehrnholm Bilarczyk and had lived the last sixty seven years in Perth Amboy. She was employed as a book keeper with Arias Machine Shop in Perth Amboy for sixty five years before retiring in 2012. She was a member of the St. Mary's Church, Perth Amboy. Clara was predeceased by her husband Joseph Arias Sr. in 1999, a brother Andrew Bilarczkk, three sisters, Marvy Stiles, Sue Sellers and Gertrude Jewell. She is survived by her son, Joseph Arais Jr. of Fords, her three daughters: Linda Rubarski and her husband Stephen of Fords, Patricia Franko and her husband Jerome of Perth Amboy and Joanne Dabbs and her husband William of Thousand Oaks, CA,, one sister, Ann Bertrand of Elmer, NJ, nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a nephew, James Bohack. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 10:00 am at the Mitruska Funeral Home, Inc., 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Interment will follow in the Alpine Cemetery in Perth Amboy. Visitation hours will be held Tuesday from 7-9 pm.
