Claire A. Jacques, 87, passed away on January 23, 2015 at McAuley Hall Health Care Center at Mount St. Mary's in Watchung. She was born in South Amboy and resided most of her life in Edison. Claire was a graduate of Saint Mary's High School in South Amboy, and she was a homemaker most of her life.

Claire was predeceased by her husband John Sr. in 1990, her brother, Robert, and her sisters, Jeanne Myslinski, Joan Carroll and Mary Sabatino. Surviving are her sons, John Jr. and his wife Dyann of Asbury, Robert and his wife Cynthia of Shrewsbury, her daughters, Susan Samson and her husband Paul of Kingwood, TX, Joni Scheerer and her husband Michael of Palm Coast FL. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren and a great-grandson.

Funeral services will be held 10 AM, Friday, January 30, 2015 at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords.

A 10:30 AM funeral liturgy will be held at Our Lady of Peace Church, Fords with interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway.

Viewing will be Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
