Cindy Lynn Cestone

Cindy Lynn Cestone, a 72-year-old resident of Matawan, New Jersey, peacefully passed away on Thursday afternoon, May 28, 2026, at the Bayshore Community Medical Center in Holmdel, New Jersey.

Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, Cindy was previously of Edison, New Jersey, before settling in Matawan, where she had resided for the past several years.

Cindy retired from TASC Fire Apparatus, Inc. of Howell, New Jersey, as a Firetruck salesperson.

She has passed away, leaving behind her beloved mother, Enid Mathews, and joining her father, Donald Mathew, in the afterlife.

Cindy leaves behind her cherished sons, Brian and Eric Lucarelli, both of Metuchen. She also has six grandchildren: Alexandra, Ariana, Addison, Cameron, Dominic, and Gianna, and her great-grandson, John Luca. Her brothers, James (Jimmy) and John Mathews, and her sisters, Ann Roberts and Linda Cook Renbarger, are also surviving. Numerous nieces and nephews are also surviving her.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Flynn and Son /Koyen Funeral Home, located at 319 Amboy Avenue, Metuchen, New Jersey 08840.

A private cremation will follow the visitation.

In lieu of flowers, Cindy’s family requests that contributions be made in her memory to any organization of their choice.
