Christina Lorusso, 96, of Honolulu passed peacefully on September 2, 2023 at home with her son, Michael and her daughter-in-law, Janice, at her side and was surrounded by her loving angels: Meiko, Fluffy, Simba, and Sammi. She was born on March 13, 1927 in Staten Island. She resided for over 60 years in Perth Amboy before moving to Honolulu in 2020. Christina and her one true love Frank Lorusso were married in 1949.

Christina and Frank owned the Corner Deli in Staten Island, working and laughing, side by side for many years. Christina eventually retired as a Medical Administrative Assistant for an Orthopedic Surgeons Group.

She was predeceased by her husband Frank in 2013.

Christina is survived by her son, Philip Lorusso of New Jersey; her son Michael Lorusso, and his wife Janice of Honolulu, Hawaii; her grandchildren Lisa-Marie, Anthony, and Philip Lorusso; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and caring friends who were all a special part of her family.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at the Good Shepherd Mausoleum in St. Gertrude Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, N.J.  08863.
