Precious little Christian Kaplan, 8 years old, of Highland Park, NJ, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2012, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ, after a life-long and courageous battle with Adrenoleukodystrophy.

Christian was born in New Brusnwick and raised in Highland Park.

He leaves behind his beloved mother, Charmaine Edwards and his loving step-father, Robert J. Brown; his dear brother and sister, Izayah Brown and Gabriella Brown; his adoring grandparents, Rachelle Edwards of Piscataway and Johnnie Edwards of Brooklyn, NY; and great- grandparents, March Rankins, Jr. and Earline Rankins of Piscataway, and Alma Edwards of Rahway.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, October 27, 2012, at 9:00 am at the Flynn and son/Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Avenue, Metuchen, NJ 08840, followed by a 10:30 interment service at Hillside Cemetery in Metuchen.

Visiting hours for Christian will be on Friday, October 26, 2012, from 2:00-4:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm.
