Chester Truskowski, 79, of Edison
died December 26, 2010, at his home.
Born in Shickshinny, PA, Chester resided in Edison for the last 50 years. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Chester was a Custodian at Middlesex Vocational Technical School in East Brunswick. Before joining VoTech, he was a Pasterizer of Costa's Ice Cream. He was a graduate of Shickshinny High School and a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Church in Fords. He enjoyed shooting pool with his grandchildren.

Chester is preceded in death by his parents, Roman and Adelia Truskowski; his brothers: Anthony, Joseph, and Edward Truskowski; and his sisters: Mary Baigis and Lillian Lohoski.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Dolores Truskowski of Edison; daughter,
Janet Wolan and her husband Michael of Edison; son, Robert Truskowski and his wife Dawn of Cary, North Carolina; four grandchildren: Jon-Michael and Christian Wolan, and Bobby and Ryan Truskowski; sister, Adeline
Yudeski of PA; three brothers: John Truskowski of Clearwater, FL; Thomas Truskowski of Mt. Sterling, KY; and Alfred Truskowski of Palatka, FL.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, December 30, 2010, at 10:00 AM from FLYNN AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ, followed by a 10:30 AM Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace Church in Fords. Interment will follow in St Gertrude Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Wednesday, December 29, 2010, from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM.
