Charlotte Frances (Bosavage) Bandola, age 84, passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side, on March 18, 2026. She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 57 years, Gerald S. Bandola (2023).
Charlotte was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and enjoyed walking on the beach, going out to dinner with friends, reading, and playing cards.
Charlotte was born on June 21, 1941, in Glen Lyon, PA to the late Edward and Bertha Bosavage. She was a longtime resident of Perth Amboy, NJ, before retiring to Ormond Beach, FL for 21 years. She recently moved to Goffstown, NH to be closer to her family. Charlotte lived a compassionate life, both personally and professionally. She was a proud registered nurse, working as head nurse for the recovery room at Raritan Bay Medical Center. She also worked as a school nurse for many different schools, including, Rose Galvin and Schirra Elementary School, Old Bridge Middle School, and Perth Amboy High School. Charlotte was also a teacher at St. Michael's Elementary School.
Surviving Charlotte are her two daughters, Jodi Bandola-Marks and Kari Rabito; along with their husbands, Daniel Marks and Richard Rabito; her grandchildren, Nora and Richard (Ricky); her sister, Rita Bosavage; her brother, Edward Bosavage and his wife Carolyn; her nieces, Wendy, Charyse, and Kimberly; and her nephews, Eric and Allen Jr.
A Funeral Mass in Charlotte's memory will take place at St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, Perth Amboy, NJ on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 10 am, followed by a post-funeral luncheon at Mama Lena's in Hopelawn, NJ. Cremation will be private. Burial of cremated remains will take place at St. Nicholas Cemetery at a later date.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Flynn and Son/Mitruska Funeral Home, 23 Fords Ave., Fords, NJ 08863.
