Born June 26, 1933, in Elizabeth, he resided in Perth Amboy for 45 years. Charles worked for 35 years for Western Electric and Lucent, retiring in 1975. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving from 1953-1955. He was a communicant at Holy Rosary Church, a member of the Holy Rosary Seniors, a life member of the Pioneers of AT&T, Iselin VFW Post # 2636, American Legion Post #45 Perth Amboy and Catholic War Veterans.

Charles is survived by his wife, Barbara (Spohn); daughters, Linda Lamprinakos and husband Dr. James of Homdel, Janice Cerasani and her husband Monty of Colonia; son, Douglas of NJ; and grandchildren: Paul, Nicole, Brianna, Catrina, Angelina, and Armando.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, October 1, 2011, at 9:30 AM from FLYNN AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, followed by a 10:00 AM Funeral Liturgy at Holy Rosary Church, Hopelawn. Entombment to follow at St. Gertrude Mausoleum, Colonia.

Visitation will be on Friday, September 30, 2011, from 5:00-8:00 PM.
