Charles "Charley" Joseph Addalia, 77, passed away suddenly at home on Friday, March 14, 2025.   Born May 27, 1947, in Elizabeth, NJ, to Charles and Ann Addalia (nee Larocco) Charley was a lifelong New Jersey resident, having lived in both Linden and Fords. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Charley had a successful career in menswear, managing stores such as Rogers Clothing, Brooks Brothers, and various other menswear shops. He later transitioned into sales, working at Weisleder Lincoln Mercury, before retiring and taking on a part-time job as a driver for the Woodbridge Deli.

A lover of music, Charley had a deep appreciation for jazz and was an avid sports fan, always supporting his New York Giants and New York Yankees—win or lose.

Charley is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 33 years, Kathy (nee Urban); beloved daughter-in-law, Allison Addalia; and his cherished grandchildren, Emily and Caleb Addalia, who were the lights of his life. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Stephen Urban and wife Helen; sister-in-law, Betsy Urban and husband, Paul Taylor; sister-in-law, Dana Reinhold and husband Bob; nephew, Nicholas Urban; niece, Nina Parent; and his loyal fur baby, Coco.

Charley has been reunited in heaven with his parents, his beloved son Paul (who passed away on January 25, 2025); his brother, Charles (who passed away at the age of six); his brother-in-law, Eddie Willis; and his cherished fur baby, Noelle.

Charley will forever be remembered and cherished in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Flynn and Son / Mitruska Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ.  A private Celebration of Life is being planned. Cremation was private.
