Charles L. Bulvanoski, 89, of Lavallette, passed peacefully on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at the Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune.
Born in Perth Amboy, formerly of Woodbridge and Ortley Beach, he had resided in Lavallette for the last 17 years.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving two terms, in WW II and the Korean War.
He was a retired driver for Nade Car Auction in Bordentown for 17 years, prior to that he had been employed as Dairy Head and Shop Steward for A & P Supermarkets in Woodbridge for 40 years.
He was a member of the Aviation Boatswain's Mates Assoc. in Lakehurst and the Amalgamated Meat Cutters Union Local # 464, Little Falls and a communicant of St. James Church in Woodbridge.
Charles was predeceased by his wife Jeanne, who died in 2000 and two children, Donald (1951) and Nancy (1961).
He leaves behind his three children, Ronald M. Bulvanoski (& Marlene D'Amico) of Toms River, Elaine Rosen (Jay) of Edison and Alan (Patrice) Bulvanoski of Pt. Pleasant Beach, four grandchildren, Jennifer, Alexis, Casey and Alan J. Bulvanoski and two great grandchildren, Macy and Riley Kahn.
Visitation will be on Friday, March 20, 2015 from 4 pm to 8 pm. at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. from the Flynn and Son Funeral Home followed by a 10 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at St. James Church, Woodbridge. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Hungry Cemetery, Fords.
