Charles Andrella, 80, of Manchester, passed away on January 2, 2012, at Manchester Manor Nursing Home. He resided in Manchester for the last 20 years.

Charles was a Smelter for 30 years with US Mills in Carteret, retiring in 1993. He served in the US Army during the Korean War.

Charles was predeceased by his wife, Irene (Korzeb), in 2003; brothers, George and John; and a sister, Anna. Surviving is a sister, Mary Rasimowicz, of CT; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 7, 2012, at 9:30 AM at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ, with a 10:00 AM Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace RC Church, Fords. Interment will follow at Clover Leaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 6, 2012, from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM.
