Cesar Gutierrez, 55, of Fords, passed away at home on Friday, December 1, 2023.

He was born in Baez, Cuba on August 28, 1968, to Freddy and Haydee Gutierrez. Cesar was a Supervisor and Heavy Equipment Operator at Appliance Dealers Co-Op in Monroe, NJ.

Cesar loved playing on the pool team with his friends during the weekend. He had a passion for sports growing up all the way till now, especially for baseball. Before anything, he loved his family most and was dedicated to protecting them.

He spent most of his life with his soulmate and best friend, Yanira, who he shared a long and loving marriage with.

Cesar is predeceased by his son, Cesar Gutierrez Jr. and his daughter, Jahaira Gutierrez.

He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Yanira (n. Lopez) Gutierrez, his daughter, Alexa Gutierrez, his, son Christian Gutierrez, of Fords, his parents, Freddy and Haydee Gutierrez, his sister, Janet Helders, and her husband, Eric, of Edison.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2023, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Flynn and Son Funeral Homes, 424 East Ave. Perth Amboy, NJ 08861. A bilingual prayer service will begin at 7:45pm, officiated by Monsignor John Gordon.
