Celida Sierra, 70, formerly of Perth Amboy, passed away on October 1, 2017, in her home in Rock Hill, SC.  She was born in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico and resided in Perth Amboy from 1967- 2015 before moving to Rock Hill.  Celida worked as a Certified Nurse's Aide at Amboy Care Center for 23 years, retiring in 2002.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Julio; her children: George, Julio Jr., Angel, Carmen, and D'Angeli; her 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; 6 brothers and sisters; and many nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be Thursday, October 5, 2017, from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Ave., Perth Amboy. Funeral services will be held Friday at 9:30 AM with a 10:00 AM funeral liturgy at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Perth Amboy. Interment will follow at Alpine Cemetery.
