Catherine (Tkacs) Youngberg, 85, of Edison died February 22, 2011, at home.

Born in Perth Amboy, she was a resident of Edison for 55 years. Catherine was a member of Our Lady of Peace RC Church, Fords.

Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur D. Youngberg in 2002 and two sisters: Marie Flynn, and Elizabeth Seaman.

She is survived by her two sons, Brian Youngberg and daughter-in-law Sheri of VT, and Robert Youngberg and daughter-in-law Jill of CA; four grandchildren: Kelly, Kristin, Alex, and Kyle;
two sisters: Anne Bayer of Hamilton Township, and Theresa Dickson of Metuchen; two brothers: George Tkacs of Freehold, and F. Henry Tkacs of NC.

A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 9:00 AM Thursday, February 24, 2011, at Our Lady Peace RC Church, Fords. Visitation will follow Thursday afternoon from 2-4 & 7-9 at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords. Interment will take place on Friday, February 25, 2011, with a procession leaving the funeral home at 8:30 AM. Burial will be in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arnytown.
