Catherine Harmyk "Kate" Timko age 101 entered into rest, November 24, 2015 at her daughter's home in York, PA. She was born in Middletown, NJ, and has resided in Hopelawn for the past 78 years.

She was a communicant of Good Shepherd Parish at Holy Spirit R C Church, and a devoted wife, parent, and grandparent. She liked traveling across the U.S.A. with her husband, visiting and enjoying the company of her family. She was an avid baseball fan, rooting for the Brooklyn Dodgers and eventually the New York Mets, and a member of the Hopelawn Seniors as well as Hopelawn School #10 PTA.

Catherine was predeceased by her husband John Joseph Timko in 1986, her grandson Donald Kevin Mc Cabe in 2014, great grandson Ryan John McCabe in 1990 and son-in-law Donald G. McCabe in 2010. She was also predeceased by seven siblings. She is survived by her children Barbara J. McCabe of York, PA, Shirley Ann Timko of Hopelawn, John Joseph Timko of Boise, ID, and Kenneth Timko and his wife Barbara of Marietta, GA. She is also survived by her grandchildren Scott and David McCabe, Beth Ann Barbato, Sally Paige, and Daniel Timko, and Andrea Gibbs, 10 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday December 5, 2015 at 9:30 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Avenue, Fords followed by a 10 am Funeral Liturgy at Most Holy Rosary Church, Hopelawn, NJ. Entombment will be in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Friday December 4, 2015 from 7-9 pm.
