Catherine Florence Rizzi, 82, died Thursday, September 18, 2014, at Tidelands Community Hospice House, Georgetown, SC. Born in Plainfield, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Florence Phillips. Catherine was a Homemaker. She enjoyed Atlantic City, yard sales, and boating and fishing with her husband.

Catherine was predeceased by her husband, James "Joe" Rizzi, in 2003. She is survived by her children: James H. Rizzi (Connie) of Edison, NJ; Terri Engel (Alan) of Pawleys Island, SC; and Joseph V. Rizzi of Goosecreek, SC; and five grandchildren: Patrick Engel, and Breanna, Nicholas, Jessica and Brandon Rizzi.

Funeral services will begin at 9:15 am on Thursday, September 25, 2014, at the Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Avenue, Metuchen, NJ, 08840 followed by a 10 am Funeral Liturgy at Sacred Heart Church, South Plainfield. Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 24, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Interment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
