Catherine Paone, 96, of Perth Amboy died on September 2, 2010, at Roosevelt Care Center, Edison. Born in Settingiano, Italy, she has resided in Perth Amboy since 1939.

Catherine was a homemaker. She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Church, a member of the Holy Rosary Ladies Guild, a charter member of the Holy Rosary Seniors, and was active in the Holy Rosary Church School PTA.

She was predeceased by her husband, Louis, in 1979, son, Nicholas in 1950, and brother, Joseph Uliano. She is survived by her daughters: Stella of Perth Amboy, Marie and husband, Walter Ross, also of Perth Amboy; son, Ben and wife, Patricia of Cape Coral, FL; four grandchildren: Lisa (Peter) Savoia, Chuck (Patty) Ross, Major Christopher (Lisa) Paone, and Michael Paone; five great-grandchildren: Samantha, Sydney, Olivia, Shawn, and Shane; sister, Connie Montuoro of Vero Beach, FL; and brother Vincent Uliano, of Philadelphia, PA.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, September 8th at 10:00 AM from FLYNN AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords followed by a 10:30 AM Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Church. Burial will follow at Holy Rosary Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Holy Rosary Seniors will meet at 3:30 for a prayer service.
