Catherine J. Mullaney, 96, of Edison, entered into eternal rest, Monday, February 2, 2015, at Care One at the Highlands, Edison. She was born in Jersey City and resided there most of her life before moving to Bayonne. She spent the past 10 years in Edison.  She was an Executive Secretary at Excess and Treaty and Co. in New York City for 10 years before retiring in 1982. Catherine was a former communicant of St. Vincent's R C Church in Bayonne, and a former member of the Senior's Club of St Aedan's in Jersey City.

She was predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Catherine Mullaney; her sister, Agnes L. Molloy; and her brother, Very Reverend Thomas Mullaney 0.P.

Catherine is survived by her sister, Mary Ellen Lake; 4 nephews and 1 niece, Thomas and Brian Molloy, Kathleen Charko, and Robert and Donald Stovall. She is also survived by 10 great-nieces and nephews and 4 great-great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 6, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords. Interment will follow in Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City. Visitation is Friday from 9:00-11:00 am.
