Obituary of Catherine L. Mehok
Catherine L. Mehok, 97, a lifelong resident of Perth Amboy passed away Thursday, April 21, 2016 in Jupiter, FL.
She had been employed as a Registered Nurse by Perth Amboy General Hospital (Raritan Bay Medical Center) for 15 years prior to her retirement.
Mrs. Mehok was a former member of both the Holy Trinity Church and the Holy Spirit Church in Perth Amboy.
She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Mehok in 1968.
Surviving are by her two sons: John Mehok and wife Bernice of Jupiter, FL and Joseph Mehok and wife Carol of Punta Gorda, FL, her sister: Eleanor Hrabik of Woodbridge, three grandchildren; Brian, Joseph Jr. and Cristina, and two great-grandchildren; Lauren and Evan.
Services will be held Friday 10:00 am at the Mitruska Funeral Home, Inc., 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Followed by a 10:30 am mass in the Good Shepherd Parish-Holy Rosary Church in Perth Amboy. Interment will follow in the Holy Trinity Cemetery in Hopelawn. Visitation hours will be held Friday from 9:00 am till time of Service.
