Catherine L. "Kay" McDermott 94, of Perth Amboy, entered into eternal rest, October 2, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.  She was born and raised in Perth Amboy.

Kay graduated Perth Amboy High School and Drake's Business School.  She retired as Deputy City Clerk for the City of Perth Amboy in 1989 after 38 years of service.

She was a lifelong parishioner of St. Mary's R C Church. She loved to travel and play cards with her dear friends.

Kay was predeceased by her parents William and Louise McDermott in 1980 and 1976 respectively, and by her brother William Jr. in 1999. She is survived by cousins, and many friends and neighbors.

A Funeral Liturgy will be offered on Saturday at 10 am at St. Stephen's R C Church 490 State Street, Perth Amboy.  Interment will follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery.  There will be no visiting hours, please meet at church.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 424 East Avenue, Perth Amboy.
