Catherine M. Fedor, 83, formerly of Fords, passed peacefully August 2, 2014, at the JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born in Perth Amboy, she resided in Fords over 30 years. She was a graduate of Perth Amboy High School. Prior to her retirement she was a Secretary at ASARCO (American Smelting & Refining Co.) of Perth Amboy and later of Newark. Catherine was a very active member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Rite Church in Perth Amboy. She loved animals and was generous in donating to animal causes. She was loved by friends and family.

She is the daughter of the late Anna (Skripko) and John Fedor; she was also predeceased by her sisters, Ann and Helen Fedor and her brothers, John (1976) and his wife Mary (2003) Fedor and Alexander (1982) and Marie (2010) Fedor. Surviving are her niece Mary Beth DiLello and her husband, Albert, of Edison and great-nephews and niece, Anthony and Tracy DiLello of Hopelawn and Travis and Darcy DiLello of Edison.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, 10:00 am from the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ 08863 followed by a 10:30 am service of Divine Liturgy at St. Nicholas Byzantine Rite Catholic Church in Perth Amboy. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be on Wednesday morning from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at the funeral home.
