Catherine Connell, 87, of East Brunswick passed away on May 25, 2023, at Complete Care at Madison in Old Bridge.  Catherine was born in Brooklyn, NY and resided in East Brunswick.  She was employed as a Payroll Clerk for the MTA in NYC.

Catherine was predeceased by her husband, John in 2008, her sons, John Barry Connell (2022), and Daniel S. Connell (2011), her siblings, Marie Connell, Jack, and Barney Gaughan.

She is survived by her two children, Glen Connell and his wife, Kelcilene, and Catherine Lynn Bannon; eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at 12 Noon from Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords.  Visitation will be held from 11 AM until the time of service.  Entombment will follow Holy Cross Burial Park, East Brunswick.
