Carolyn A. Griffin, 78, formerly of Jackson, passed peacefully on Monday, February 8, 2016, at the CentraState Medical Center, Freehold.

A retired Floral Designer, among her many talents, she was the Owner of CAG Florist in Jackson and was the founder of the Youth Advisory Council (Y.A.K.) in Jackson.

Carolyn leaves behind her five beloved children; Daniel E. Griffin, Jr., Sean P. Griffin, Kelly A. Piercy, Aileen M. Gilmore, and Maura E. Denton; her 12 beloved grandchildren: Erica, Kyle, Kevin, Connor, Brendan, Melissa, Daniel, Jenny Lee, Brianna, Ireland, Alexis and Sean; and her 7 beloved great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Friday, February 12, 2016, from 6 pm to 9 pm, and Saturday, February 13, 2016, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863.

Funeral services will begin on Saturday at 12 Noon at the funeral home. A private cremation will follow.
