Carole Virginia Stankard, 66, of Fords, NJ passed away peacefully on January 10, 2025, surrounded by family at HMH/Raritan Bay Medical Center.

She was born in New Brunswick and grew up in North Brunswick. Carole graduated North Brunswick High School in 1977 and went on to work as a paralegal for many years.

Carole is predeceased by her parents, Jack and Ginny Stankard and her older brother, Jay Stankard. She is survived by daughters, Alexandra and Veronica Stankard and four sisters, Sally Searls, Barbara Franta (Tom), Elizabeth DeMuro, and Meg Rivers (Steve). She is also survived by a nephew, two nieces, and the loving staff of Roosevelt Care Center in Edison, NJ.

Carole loved to garden and spend time with all of her pets. You can make a donation in her honor to the humane society.

Private services will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of the Flynn and Son/Mitruska Funeral Home, Fords.
