Carole Meistrich Jacobson Corral 70, died Monday, August 9, 2010, surrounded by her family.

Born in Perth Amboy, Carole moved to Hazlet in 1978 after living in Holmdel for 5 years. After graduating from Perth Amboy High School (Class of '58), Carole received degrees from Upsala College and Brookdale Community College. While providing a home for her children, Carole became an entrepreneur, owning and
operating the Shirt Works. Carole found many life-long friends working at Mutual
Benefit Life Insurance Co. in Newark and Raritan Bay Medical Center, in Perth Amboy.

She was a life member of the Congregation Shaarey Tefiloh and their Sisterhood. During her retirement years, Carole volunteered her time at Bayshore Hospital.

Carole was predeceased by her husband of 23 years, Joseph Corral II, and her parents Sue and Irving Meistrich. Carole is survived by many cherished friends and family including her children Steven Jacobson of Clayton CA., Marc Jacobson and Donna Wrenn of Shrewsbury,
Daniel and Dawn Jacobson of Howell; grandchildren Christopher, Matthew, Zachary,
Cameron, and Benjamin Jacobson; sisters Judy (Meistrich) and Sol Buchband of Boynton Beach, FL, and Linda (Meistrich) Rothenberg of Edison; and many of Joe's children and grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 12:30 at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Ave., Perth Amboy. Interment will follow at Mount Lebanon Cemetery in Iselin.
