Obituary

Carol A. Wright, 67, of Manahawkin, passed away at home on May 26, 2014. She was born in Perth Amboy on May 27, 1946. She worked as a machinist for Revlon in Edison and at Harrah's Casino in Atlantic City. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Matawan. She was the Past Matron of the Eastern Star in Matawan. In life Carol loved many things; among them, her dogs, going fishing and crabbing; and watching cowboy movies. Carol was her family's beloved Santa Claus.

Carol was predeceased by her life partner, Lori Toris, in 2013.

She is survived by, her brothers, Frederick I. Wright Jr. and his wife Eleanor of Titusville, FLA; Ronald Wright and his wife Barbara of Parlin; sisters, Barbara Guarnieri and her husband Louis of Toms River; Jeanie Stokes and her husband Leonard Jr. of Matawan; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 pm, at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863. Services will begin, Monday 10 am at the funeral home, followed by an 11 am Funeral Service at the First Baptist Church in Matawan. Interment will be in Clover Leaf Memorial Park in Woodbridge.
