Carol Smarsch, 76, of Perth Amboy, passed away at the Amboy Care Center on November 29, 2021. She was born on May 17, 1945, in Perth Amboy. Carol was a High School Teacher for the South Amboy Board of Education. She was a graduate of Perth Amboy High School and received a bachelor's degree from Montclair State College. Carol was a communicant of Holy Trinity Church.

She was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Helen Smarsch.

Carol is survived by three cousins, Roberta Bacskay, and her husband, Peter, of Colonia; Sharon Moore, of Memphis, TN; and Jeffrey Muska, of New Jersey.

A Funeral Liturgy will be held at St. Cecelia's Church on December 4, 2021, at 10 am. Interment will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery in Perth Amboy.
