Carol Nancy Rose

Carol Nancy Rose, 84, of Ligonier, PA, passed peacefully on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at the Forbes Hospital in Monroeville, PA.

She was born in Perth Amboy, NJ, and was formerly of Jackson Twp., NJ, before moving to Ligonier, PA, 18 years ago.

She was a graduate of Woodbridge High School with the “Class of 1961.”

Carol was predeceased by her beloved parents, Selmer and Martha Johnson, and her siblings: Lorraine Mozdzierz, Gloria Jankovitch, Vera Fraind, and Linda Falcone.

She leaves behind her beloved husband of 65 years, Ted Rose, and her son, Don Rose and his wife, Eileen, her 2 beloved daughters, Kim Garby, and her husband Michael, and Stacey Lundy, and her husband, Salvatore. She also leaves her 5 beloved grandchildren, Kyle and his wife, Amanda, Tyler and his wife, Tori, Mikie, Casina and Carolyn, and 3 cherished great-grandchildren, Mia, Cooper and Dominic. She also leaves behind her siblings, Brenda Petersen and Selmer Johnson and his wife, Elsie, and many nieces and nephews. Nothing was more important to Carol than her family!

Visitation will be on Sunday, August 23, 2026, from 1 pm until 5 pm at the Flynn and Son / Mitruska Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 24, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. from the Flynn and Son/ Mitruska Funeral Home.

Interment will follow in Clover Leaf Memorial Park Cemetery, Woodbridge, NJ.
