Carol A. Oberdick (Briody), 85, of Menlo Park Terrace, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 17, 2024.  Born in Jersey City on May 18, 1938, Carol was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who loved spending time with her family, reading, playing online games, watching game shows, and NJ Devils hockey.

Carol was predeceased by her husband Michael T. Oberdick; daughter, Kathryn Rossi; grandson, Justin Cooper; son-in-law, Gary Cooper; brother, Robert Gibbs; and sister, Francis Curtin.

She is survived by four daughters, Carol Lamberti and her husband Mike of Menlo Park Terrace; Janet Cooper of Fords; Tricia Gardner and her husband Tony of Edison; Susan Meikle and her husband Herb of East Brunswick; Seven grandchildren: Nate Rossi, Richard Ruszala, Jennifer Traversone, Matthew Oberdick Lamberti, Michael Meikle, Anthony Gardner and Kathy Gardner; Three great-grandchildren Greyson, Andrew and Bella; and brother, Jack Briody of Toms River.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 24, 2024, from 1-4 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863, followed by a funeral service at 4 pm in the funeral home. Cremation will be private.

Memorial contributions in Carol's name may be made to the American Cancer Society of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
