Carol T. Hrehowesik, 79, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 23, 2020. She was born in Perth Amboy, NJ and lived most of her life in Fords, NJ.

Before her retirement in 2006, she was employed as a secretary at Central Jersey Air Pollution, and by the Middlesex County Health Department for 28 years in New Brunswick, NJ.

She is predeceased by her parents, Madeline and Alfred Whittam, sisters, Florence Whittam, Mildred Keenan, and Dorothy Bolte, as well as her beloved pets, Tiffany and Tiggy.

She is survived by her daughter, Jill Weigand and husband Fred of Forked River, her son, Douglas Hrehowesik and wife Cathy, of Fords, her grandchildren, Samantha and Justin Weigand, her sister, Barbara Mayer and husband Donald and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Carol always loved spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends. She also enjoyed cooking and baking many delicious meals for everyone and adored reading. She will be missed very, very much by all.

There will be on January 9, 2021 a 9:30 AM, Memorial Service Mass at Our Lady of Peace located at 620 Amboy Ave, Edison, NJ 08837. Immediately following the Memorial Service Mass from 10:30 am until 12:30 pm, the family will be providing a opportunity for friends and family to visit and share stories, memories at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords 08863.

Family and friends, repast will occur at a much later date once it is safe for all. Thank you for your understanding during this hard time.
