Carol A. Filo, 86, of Manchester Twp., passed peacefully at her home after a long illness, on Wednesday April 30, 2025.

She was born on September 2, 1938, in Irvington NJ, and had resided in the Menlo Park Terrace Section of Woodbridge Twp for over 40 years, before moving to Manchester Twp 25 years ago.

Carol always enjoyed cruising and going to Atlantic City.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Michael Filo, who died in August of 2021, and her parents Harold and Louise Filliger.

She leaves behind her two beloved sons; Michael Filo and his wife Susan, of Hamilton and Kenneth Filo, who also was her caregiver, of Manchester Twp. and her two daughters, Karen Valek and her husband Sean of St. Johns, FL  and Kathleen DeMarco of South Brunswick, her beloved sister Barbara Karpati of FL, her four grandchildren; Gina Filo, Travis and Tyler Valek and Christina DeMarco, and her two great grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 8:30 am until 10:30 am followed by a 10:30 am Funeral Service at the Flynn and Son/ Mitruska Funeral Home Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863.

Interment will follow in St Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia, NJ.
