Carol Jane Conover (nee Brems), 86, of Pittstown, NJ, passed away at Country Arch Care Center on July 12, 2015. She was born March 12, 1929, in Perth Amboy. Carol resided in Edison for 50 years before moving to Pittstown. She worked in the family construction business, Conover & Brems, Inc. started by her husband Walter, and father Christian Brems in 1959. She was a graduate of Woodbridge High School, Class of 1947, and a graduate of the Drake Business School. She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church and a lifetime member of the Mount Zion Chapter No. 116, Order of the Eastern Star of NJ.  Carol loved traveling and attending craft shows, but her most favorite thing to do was spending time with her grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Walter Conover, in 1987 and her son, Todd Conover, in 1971.

Carol is survived by a son, Wayne Conover and his wife Gayle of Stockton, NJ; two grandchildren, Daniel Conover of Riverside, CA, and Julie Padovani and her husband Xavier of London, England.

Visitation will be Friday 4-7 p.m. at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ. 08863. Funeral services are private.
