Carmen Lopez, 84, died November 25, 2012, at Haven Hospice in JFK Medical Center. Carmen was born on May 18,1928, in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico. She has lived in Perth Amboy for the last 40 years. She was a homemaker and a communicant of La Asuncion Church, where she was a member of the Legion of Mary.

She was predeceased by her husband, Fundador Lopez, in 1973. Carmen is survived by a son, Wilfredo Lopez and his wife, Amelia, of Lancaster, PA; a daughter, Ivette Lopez of Perth Amboy; five grandchildren: Wilfredo, Enrique, Roberto, Julian, and Andres; a brother, Angel Perez of Puerto Rico; and two nephews.

Visitation will be held Thursday, November 29, 2012, from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Avenue, Perth Amboy, NJ. 08861. Services will begin at 10:00 am on Friday at the funeral home followed by a 10:30 am Funeral Liturgy at Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish in La Asuncion Church. Cremation will be private.
