Carl E. Thompson, 70, passed away on August 3, 2013 at JFK Hartwych Edison Estates.
Born in Waverly, NY, Carl has resided in Edison for the past 2 years and prior years in Plainfield, Westfield and Kenilworth. He was a machinist at National Tool Manufacturing in Kenilworth. Carl was a veteran of the United States Navy and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Surviving is his wife, Eunice (Holbrook), daughters: Joanne Cocuzza and her husband Cataldo of Livingston and Madeleine Garcia and her husband Oscar of Piscataway. Also surviving are his grandchildren: Isabella, Cataldo, Vincent, Alessandro Cocuzza and Gabrielle, Marisa Garcia. Cremation will be private.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Flynn and Son / Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Ave., Metuchen, NJ 08840.
