Camille Wasilewski, 101, of Edison, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family and caregiver Marina on January 28, 2024. She was born in Newark, NJ on January 23, 1923 and moved to Perth Amboy after her marriage.  She later settled with her family in Edison.

Camille was a homemaker for most of her adult life, but worked several years in sales at a local department store prior.  She loved her work and was recognized for her outstanding customer service skills and contributions.  She also loved to read, garden, and especially enjoyed cooking, baking, decorating, entertaining and hosting holiday gatherings.  She was very proud of her family and enjoyed spending time with her loved ones. Camille also had many friends with whom she shared many joyous times with as well.  Camille traveled to Florida with her husband Steve for over 20 years where they loved visiting longtime friends and family.

Camille was a devoted Catholic and a member of Our Lady of Peace Church in Fords, NJ.

She was predeceased by her parents, Liberato Clericuzio and Mary Capone, along with her loving husband, Stephen Wasilewski, 6 sisters, 2 brothers and her grandson-in-law, TJ Smoltino.

Camille is survived by her two daughters, Janice Haus, and husband, Richard, of South Plainfield, and Cindy Edelman and husband, Richard, of Hillsborough; five grandchildren: Jessica Torres and husband, James, Shannon Haus, Amy Haus, Evan Edelman, and wife, Shaune, and Rachel Edelman; three great-grandchildren: Ava and Andrew Torres and Jack Grivner, along with her niece and nephews Gail Morris, James, Thomas and Mark LaTorroca, and 6 great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation will be at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863 on Thursday, February 1, 2024, from 4-8 PM. Funeral Services will begin Friday, 10 AM, in the funeral home. A 10:30 AM Funeral Liturgy will be held in Our Lady of Peace Church in Fords. Entombment will be at the Hollywood Cemetery in Union.
