Bruce. R Williamson, 67, of Woodbridge, NJ passed away peacefully at home on December 8, 2020. Bruce spent the last two years bravely fighting against pancreatic cancer. Born on July 3, 1953, he grew up in Perth Amboy and graduated from Perth Amboy High School. He spent ten years on the Perth Amboy First Aid Squad as an EMT. He received a bachelor's degree from Kean University and was a brother of Theta Chi Fraternity. Bruce spent his life's work in loss prevention and retail security working for Bonwit Teller, Lord & Taylor and Bloomingdale's. He most recently served as a vice president at Metro One, LPSG in Staten Island. He loved boating, Hilton Head Island, the New York Yankees, his dogs and spending time with family and friends.

Bruce is predeceased by his parents, Robert H. and Lillian Williamson. He is survived by his devoted wife of 44 years, Susan Galgano Williamson; cherished daughter, Amanda Evelyn; sister Debra and husband  Dave; brother Harold and wife Joanne; as well as his loving nephew, nieces, godchildren and cousins.

Visitation will be on Friday, December 11, 2020, 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave, Fords, NJ 08863. Funeral Services will begin Saturday, 9:30 am at the Funeral Home. Followed by a 10 am Funeral Liturgy at St. James Church in Woodbridge. Interment will be in St. Gertrude's Cemetery in Colonia.
