Brian P. Mc Laughlin, 56, of Edison, passed peacefully with his family at his side on Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at RWJ University Hospital, New Brunswick.  Born in Seattle, WA, he had resided in Edison since 1965.  He was a graduate of Edison High School, with the class of '79. He served in the US Army 82nd Airborne Paratroopers division.  He was most recently employed as a Warehouseman at Sam's Club in Edison; prior to that, he had been a self-employed carpenter.

He was predeceased by his father, Douglas T. Mc Laughlin.

Brian leaves behind his son, Brian M. and his daughter-in-law, Shannon, and his daughter, Brittany all of Houtzdale, PA; his five grandchildren: Jaylynn, Bryelle, Jayce, Adrian, and Julian; his mother, Betty Jo Massaro, with whom he resided; his brother, Michael and his sister-in-law, Rosemary of Edison; his sister, Michelle Massaro of Hillsborough; two nephews, Michael and David; and his dog, "Jessie."

Visitation will be on Friday, May 26, 2017, from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon, at the Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Avenue, Metuchen, NJ 08840 with a funeral service at 12 Noon. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Metuchen.
