Brian David Ellsworth, 37, of Napa, California and formerly of Woodbridge, died on Tuesday, October 4, 2016, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Toms River and raised in Woodbridge, Brian settled in California in 2005. He graduated from Johnson State College, Johnson, VT, with his Baccalaureate in Environmental Engineering. He was employed by Clean Harbor of West Sacramento, CA and he was also a co-owner of Denbro, an environmental compliance company, based in Fremont, CA. He was an avid fan of the NJ Devils and he enjoyed snowboarding, camping and hiking.

He is survived by his wife, Adrienne Smillie of Napa, CA; his parents, Eileen (Musanti) Ellsworth of Sacramento, CA and Brian Ellsworth of Neptune; many loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nephews and Friends, and; his faithful canine companions Samson, Star and Leo.

Cremation was private. The family will receive friends at a Memorial Service on Friday from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Flynn and Sons Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:00 AM on Saturday from St. James RC Church, Woodbridge.
