Bettie F. Lopez was born April 12, 1947 in Louisburg, NC. Daughter of the late Tom and Judy Mae Arrington. She went home to be with the lord on Monday, July 8, 2019 at JFK Medical Center, Edison.

She was a long-life resident of Perth Amboy and worked for various companies as a sales associate. She was a helping hand to all people in need.
Bettie Lopez was formerly known as (Black Betty Jean).

She was predeceased by her siblings, Pee-Wee, James Lee, Nathanial, Randy and Bob, Rebecca Gosha and Rosa Toney.
Bettie leaves a large, loving family to cherish her memory including her husband Ralph Lopez; her siblings, Annie Ruth Alston, Catherine, Shirley, Pattie Mae, John, Bernard, Curtis and Jimmy.
She leaves two daughters, Marjorie Harrell and Latiesha Davis and 13 grand kids, Tuanda, Jesse, Jermere, Josattlyn, Shadaya, Rashame, Amanda, David, Samatha, Ebony, Samuel, Brittnay, Teresa; and 20 great-grand kids.

Viewing will be held on Sunday, July 14, 2109, from 1-4 PM at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Ave., Perth Amboy. A service will be held at 3:30 PM. A private cremation will be held.
