Bernita D. Sobrey 84 of Kendall Park, entered into eternal rest, Friday June 15, 2012 at the Elms in Cranbury. She was born in Perth Amboy and has resided in Kendall Park for the past 20 years.

Bernita retired in 1997 as a Judicial Secretary at the Middlesex County Courthouse after 25 years of service. She was a communicant of St. Augustine's R. C. Church in Kendall Park. Bernita thoroughly enjoyed life and was a real people person as evidenced by her many friends. An avid reader she had a great sense of humor and enjoyed traveling.

Bernita was predeceased by her parents Steve and Mary Wojtanowski Sobrey, and her husband Sol Epstein. She is survived by her daughter Christine Whittom of North Brunswick, her sister Alberta Sobrey of North Brunswick, several cousins and many friends.

A 10 am funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday June 21, 2012 at St. Augustine's R. C. Church 45 Henderson Rd., Kendall Park. Interment will follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation is Wednesday 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Ave., Fords.
