Bernard Magier passed away quietly at the home of his son on Monday, August 12, 2024. He was 95 years old.

Mr. Magier was born and raised in Brooklyn. He was the son of Polish immigrant parent's, the late Karol and Anna Dubroff Magier.  He received his Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from the City College of New York. He spent the majority of his career as a chemist for the Troy Chemical Company in Newark. In the early 1950's he met a wonderful girl during the family's vacation in the Poconos.  In 1954, Bernice became Bernard's wife and they shared 62 years together until her passing in 2016.

In addition to his parents and dear wife Bernice, Bernard was preceded in death by his son Larry in 2018 and daughter Janet Tenenbaum in 2022. He is survived by his son: Eric Magier and his wife Rosalie; daughter Francine Magier; son-in-law Aaron Tenenbaum, and grandchildren Lauren and Michael Tenenbaum, and Angelica and Camille Escano.

Funeral Services and entombment will take place at 1:00pm, on Thursday, August 15, 2024 from the Sanctuary of Israel Chapel in the Beth Israel Cemetery Mausoleum, Woodbridge Center Drive at US Route 1 North, Woodbridge.
