Bernard F. Hendricks, 84, of Edison entered into eternal rest on Sunday, July 22, 2012, at JFK Medical Center in Edison.
Born in Jersey City, Bernard had resided in Edison for the past 38 years. He was an Ironworker with Local #45 in Jersey City for 45 years prior to his retirement in 1989.
Bernard was predeceased by his grandson, Nicholas Anthony. He is survived by his children, Brian Hendricks and wife, Annette, of South Plainfield, Carol Bucco and her husband, Richard, of Lakewood, and Laurie Barbosa and her husband, Joseph, of Toms River; seven grand-children and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Thursday, July 26, 2012, from 4:00-8:00 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ, 08863. A service will be held at 7:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to the American Cancer Society.
